AZ TAX CREDIT
The Arizona Tax Credit is a positive way for you to donate money you owe for state taxes to Qualifying Charitable Organizations (QCO) in our Community.
With your taxes being diverted to Copper Queen Community Hospital Foundation (CQCHF), you will play a vital part in the distribution of quality health care in Southeast Arizona. Your donation generates a tax credit that will offset tax owed to Arizona on your tax return.Arizona State tax law (A.R.S. 43-1089.01) allows taxpayers a tax credit of up to $800.00 for Couples filing jointly or $400.00 if filing individually on Arizona Income taxes for Qualifying Charitable Organizations (QCO). This tax credit is claimed on Form 321. The QCO Code needed on that form is for CQCHF is 22363. Also, you have until April 15th of the year you file to still donate. Therefore you can donate for the previous year up until the date you file. So, going back in time is possible.
