AZ TAX CREDIT

DONATE
The Arizona Tax Credit is an easy way for you to donate the money you owe to State Taxes to Qualifying Charitable Organizations (QCO) in our community.
With your tax money being diverted to the Copper Queen Community Hospital Foundation, you will play a vital part in the distribution of quality health care in Southern Cochise County.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Your generous donation generates a tax credit that will offset tax owed to the State of Arizona on your next tax return! AZ State tax law (A.R.S. 43-1089.01) allows taxpayers a tax credit of up to $987 (couples filing jointly) or $495 (filing individually) on Arizona income taxes when donating to Qualifying Charitable Organizations (QCO). Taxpayers do not have to itemize deductions to claim a credit for QCO donations.
This tax credit is claimed on Form 321. The QCO Code needed on that form is for CQCHF is 22363.
Instructions on how to complete the form can be found here:
CAN I STILL DONATE IN JANUARY 2026?
Arizona law allows QCO donations made during 2025 or donations made from January 1, 2026 through April 15, 2026 to be claimed on the 2025 Arizona income tax return.
The maximum credit that can be claimed on the 2025 Arizona return for donations made to QCOs is $495 for single, married filing separate or head of household taxpayers, and $987 for married filing joint taxpayers.
If a taxpayer makes a QCO donation from January 1, 2026 through April 15, 2026 and wants to claim the higher 2026 maximum credit amount of $1,009 (couples filing jointly) or $506 (filing individually) the taxpayer will need to claim the credit on the 2026 Arizona return filed in 2027.

The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.
