Filling Out Tax Form

AZ TAX CREDIT

DONATE

The Arizona Tax Credit is a Easy Way for You to Donate the Money You Owe to State Taxes to Qualifying Charitable Organizations (QCO) in our Community.

With your tax money being diverted to the Copper Queen Community Hospital Foundation, you will play a vital part in the distribution of quality health care in Southern Cochise County.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Your generous donation generates a tax credit that will offset tax owed to the State of Arizona on your next tax return! AZ State tax law (A.R.S. 43-1089.01) allows taxpayers a tax credit of up to $841 (couples filing jointly) or $421 (filing individually) on Arizona income taxes when donating to Qualifying Charitable Organizations (QCO).

This tax credit is claimed on Form 321. The QCO Code needed on that form is for CQCHF is 22363.

CAN I STILL DONATE?

Taxpayers can claim this credit on their 2023 income tax return if they file after April 15, but the donation must be made on or before April 15, 2024. If you make a donation after April 15, you can claim it on the 2024 tax return.
